I'm here! The drive down took about 7000 years, thanks to my complete inability to read road signs and drive at the same time. I like driving on road trips, and I actually enjoy going by myself, but by the time I had been driving for 6 hours I was ready to arrive. After 7, I never wanted to see my dashboard again. Fortunately, after 7 hours and 10 minutes, I was here!
So far, I've eaten pizza, played charades, walked on the beach with a herd of small children, and eaten ice cream. Not too shabby. Tomorrow begins the quest for brown (NOT red) skin.
On a side note, I just discovered that the itunes music store has the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer available. I know I don't have the hard drive space for it, but I would LOVE to have that on my ipod. Never mind that I already own it on DVD. Maybe someday I will get a new computer and be able to rip my dvds to put on the ipod. Until then I will have to settle for strongbad podcasts. It's such a hard life.
In closing, I would like to send a shout out to my sister for letting me shamelessly use her for her computer. Love you L!

Glad to hear you arrived safely. Small group potluck was really small. Only Me, Jerrod, John, Mark, Steph, Lorene and her boyfriend (I think his name is Mark). Hope you have a fun time at the beach.
P.S. I figured out how to put links on my blogsite. Next thing to tackle- adding pictures
