Another nothing post...

I have come to the realization that I just suck at blogging consistency. I have so much respect for Candace for managing to get something written every day. Of course, she always has the option of posting pics of her son. I doubt anyone is that interested in pictures of my tomato plants.
I have started to develop a vague obsession with Lady in the Water. I am not a big M. Night Shyamalan fan (please don't throw things at me). Sure, the twist at the end of The Sixth Sense surprised me as much as it did anyone else, but I haven't really watched anything if his since then. But something about this movie fascinates me . Or maybe it is just the advertising blitz working its magic.
I went swimming again today with Kelly and Joy, and it was lots of fun. I much prefer that to the elliptical or the treadmill, if for no other reason because I HATE to sweat. I think I am going to have to invest in a swim cap though, because the hair is becoming an issue. Either that, or I could cut the hair off, which would be sad after so many months of growing it out.
Can I take a moment to point out that summer break absolutely rocks my socks? I still miss my theatre kiddos a bit, but I think I will survive without them until August.
For my final thought, I would llike to observe that in the movie My Best Friend's Wedding (it's on TBS) Cameron Diaz's teeth are so white and straight as to be slightly disturbing. No one has teeth that perfect.

I would love to see pics of your tomato plants, doing all kinds of things: basking in the sun, going for a walk, changing their soil...

Thanks for the respect, even if it's only for blogging - I take it anyway I can get it ;)

And C. Diaz's teeth - did you ever see the friends episode where Ross bleaches his teeth and he leaves the bleach on too long? Imaging meeting *that* in real life - yipes!!

Yes, the overly white teeth is definitely a weird Hollywood phenomenon. I guess like everything else it's the unatainable that we find so repulsive yet memirizing at the same time.

Glad your enjoying your summer!
