Ch-ch-changes

I am not the world's biggest fan of change. Usually once I find something that works for me, I will stay with it forever, even after it has stopped working, or gets too expensive, or whatever. Thus, the stuff that is no issue for most people is a big deal for me.

Change 1 -- I called today to cancel my Curves membership, and I am going to join the Y. Canceling the membership at Curves was the easy part, now I actually have to cough up the money and go join the Y. I'll be honest, joining a gym is no picnic for a fat girl. Unfortunately, gyms are not very fat-friendly places, and a big motivator to join Curves was that it was less scary than other places. The downside though, is that after a while Curves is boooooooooorrrrrring. It doesn't help that I have the attention span of a gnat.

Change 2 -- My .mac account that I have had since 2002 is going the way of the dinosaur. I like it, but it is too expensive and I can get the same services cheaper elsewhere. Thanks to the lovely and talented Candace I am going to be joining the Gmail revolution, and I think the pics will be migrating to Flickr. It has been a long and lovely friendship, but I can't justify the expense.

It's kind of sad that I have resorted to blogging about random details of my life, but it is summer break and there is not that much to talk about. I know you are jealous if all my glamour.

That's what friends enjoy most, the every day little details. Good luck at the gym!

Is gmail free? I need to get a new account. I just got a hotmail one, but doesn't everybody have hotmail? gmail sounds way cooler. Email me the details if you get a minute. Or put it on my blog if you don't have my email anymore.
