I guess I should thank my landlord.

My landlord is a collosal jerk. He always has been, and he got worse a few years ago. Then yesterday, he got even worse. I am not going to go into details, but at this point, calling him a jerk actually maligns the good name of jerks everywhere. But I have managed to find a way to be thankful for his unfortunate lack of heart, soul, or anything else normally associated with humanity.

I'm buying a house.

It's still really early, I have only just started talking to mortgage companies and calling realtors, but it is really happening, and I am putting it out here as a way to keep myself from chickening out.

So here I go. Wheeeee!

One small postscript: I am not going to put my landlord's name on this site, because I would rather him not stumble across my blog. But if you would like to know his name so that you and everyone you have ever met can avoid him as you would Satan himself, feel free to email me.

I totally agree with Holli - you won't be too scared to think about it soon. That's so great! And way to stick it to your landlord - buying a house! ;)
