It's a beautiful day

OK, so it's cold too, but still pretty from an inside perspective.

We had a 2 hour delay today, and we found out about it last night, so I got to sleep an extra 90 minutes this morning, until my dad called and woke me up. There is a possibility of snow tonight, and while I am trying not to plan on a day off, another snow day would be nice so that I can get some more packing done.

On the packing front, things are OK -- my downstairs is about 85% packed, but I still need to do the attic. I am a little scared to go up there, it has been so cold lately that it is probably frigid. Plus, there are spiders.

I got my appraisal back today, and it looks like everything is in order, and that won't be an issue with my mortgage. Closing is in ten days, assuming all goes well.

We are working on sets today in Crucible practice, which is always lots of fun, if a little chaotic. It is shaping up to be a lovely day.

You're almost there!

I read your post below this one on searching different religions. I have often felt the same thing for Judaism. The long history and intimate knowledge of Scripture are intriguing to me, as well as the sanctity and/or safety they have in the "rules" or law. Those types of rules became muttled in most protestant sects which developed into legalism. Therefore it seems like it should be all or nothing (so to speak).

That was a short version of my thoughts..hope they made sense! Really interesting post, Erin.
