There IS such a thing as a tesseract.

My favorite author in the world is Madeleine L'Engle, and her best known book is A Wrinkle in Time. Today I was at Blockbuster Christmas shopping for my brother-in-law (shhh! don't tell!) and I stumbled across something I did not even know existed -- the MOVIE version of the book. Disney made it, and I was little hesitant at first -- the last movie adaptation Disney did of one of her books bore no resemblance to the book, plus it starred that scary skinny chick from the O.C. But I figured the special feature interview with the author was worth the $4.99 cost of the DVD, so I took the plunge.

I am about 20 minutes into the movie, and so far, it rocks. The casting if Meg, Charles Wallace, Calvin, and Mrs. Whatsit are perfect. The effects when they tesser the first time are amazing. It is not completely faitful to the book, but so far it looks like they have just updated a bit; after all, the book was written in the early sixties. They seem to have left in all the best stuff though.

I am off to watch the rest. Remember, it is only Love that can fight the darkness.

No, you aren't. If you have not read the book, you would have no idea what a tesseract is. It's ok. :)
