Mostly because I have nothing else to blog about...

In a blatant imitation of Kelly's most recent post, I thought I would reflect a bit on the high and low points of 2005...complete with pictures...In no particular order...

Best books read: Wicked, Little Earthquakes, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Most addictive new hobby: Knitting

Most amazing moment: The first time I went into the Awake 24/7 prayer room -- I fell on my face and spent an hour there, and life has never been the same since

Most exciting new friendships: Laura and Candace

Funnest unplanned purchase: The first season of Fraggle rock on DVD

Favorite new store: Torrid

Best vacation: VA beach with Kristie and Sarah

"Is this really happening to me?" moment: Being hit on by a very hot Greek waiter in VA beach

Favorite baby: Bella Starr

Most beautiful belly: Gaylyn (with Baby Bella inside)

Most random time and place for a life shaking moment: A one act competition and a play about multiple personalities

Saddest moment: Losing my grandfather

Most unbelievable place visited: The Chapel at the Naval Academy

Most woohoo! moment: Finding out I passed the Praxis

Biggest Waste of Perfectly Good Sunbathing Time: Reading in the Content Area

Best planned purchase: A storage system from Ikea

Relationship I am happiest to have restored: the one with my sister

Experience I could have done without: Having my teeth repaired. Five of them.

Scariest Moment: When my motherboard broke and crashed my precious computer

Best creative expression: The veil I made for Kelly's shower

Proudest moment: Watching 100 Lunches and knowing that I helped make it happen

Lowest point that God somehow made into something wonderful: totaling my Honda

Pet that I never would have expected to love but that I loved a whole lot: Skippy (may he rest in peace)

Most scary/happy/exciting/disturbing/rollercoaster revelation: that I don't have to be a slave to the "supposed to", because if the Son has set me free, I shall be free indeed.

I can't wait to see what 2006 will bring.
